We have so many great sofas here at the Sofa Store and so I thought today, I’d do a little moodboard in two of the most popular colours for 2015 – blush pink and navy!
I wanted to use the Lauren range because it’s just such a great neutral piece to layer with and really works with so many different styles. And this particular fabric – Graceland Grey – is a beautiful light grey colour that really lightens up a room and is really on trend right now.
In this moodboard, it probably veers more towards a feminine style but the navy blue does ground the pink and make it look less feminine and more grown up. I also used a wonderful rosewood sideboard from Oak Furnitureland because I believe every room should have a great wood piece in it – again, it creates a bit of gravitas and makes it look a little more grown up.
There’s a real mix of patterns here as well, creating lots of interest and the updated toile wallpaper really creates a great backdrop if used for a feature wall in the room.
All the sources are on the bottom of the post but do tell me – is this a look you’d like in your own living room?
